Belt tension pulleys
Belt tensioner pulleys are mechanical components that act as deflecting units in belt drive systems and ensure that the tension and contact between the belt and the driven or driving pulley are maintained. They increase the wrap angle in belt drives, allowing for higher power transmission or more compact dimensions. These pulleys compensate for the length changes of the belt due to operation and reduce wear on the belt drive, while also allowing for shorter axle distances.
There are different designs: Design A is suitable for V-belts, Design B for flat, V, and round belts, and Design D for round belts as well as steel and hemp ropes. The deep groove ball bearings in the belt tensioner pulleys are sealed on both sides and lubricated with maintenance-free grease.
